Personally i never fly a plane that has controls that are just buttons, but my buddie got me a wattage micro flyer for my birthday, ive always thought it was a joke, but today, i decided to rty it, to my suprise, it flys great! and even at full throttle, from 100 ft up, crashing might scratch the nose a little. Now dont be deceived by its size, this plane can do it all, even if you only have a rudder, one good gust of wind can make for some wild aerobatics, and flying with the wind, this little thing can keep up with my mad max, which can reach about 30, my problems with this plane is that landing is horrid, you just let go of the remohte, and the plane drops out of the sky, so no matter how good you are, landings always suck. another problems is that the prop is friction fit, and flys off at 200ft up, making your day a long one searching througha a soccerfeild for a small peice of black plastic. tomorrow i plan on buying another one so my buddie can fly along with me. for those of you looking for a good laugh.. this plane is 30 bucks, and a good week or more of entertainment. If you get one, my best trick so far is an immelman into a loop and a full cobra manuver.

have you had any problems with the rudder not steering or anything. or have you had any problems with it glitching. im about to buy one but im 14 and i dont have a whole lot of money. other postings are saying stuff like the acctulator wires can break on landing and that it range can be kind of short. have you had any problems with this. i want to spend my money wisely so i dont end up with a 40$ peice of crap.

In the fast few weeks ive had it, ive slammed it into a building at full speed, i dont know how many times into the ground, the worst damage i have received so far is the gearbox poping open, but i fixed that by using some CyA glue. my only suggestion for you is that if you do buy one, buy an extra package of props, each prop only lasts a few flights, because of the lack of control, landings are a bit hairy, and usually end up being a light crash. If you want to use this airplane for an entrance into r/c flying, its not for you, Hobbyzone makes the firebird series, and for the money its much more worth it. however, if your just looking for a little fun, this airplane is great, but i would wait, hobbypeople has sales almost weekly, and if you time it right, you can pick one up for 20 bucks, plus props for another 4 bucks. If you really want to spend your money wisely, you wont get one of these quite yet. Go out and buy a computer simulator, and learn to fly the faster, biger, and quicker airplanes, then stepping into this little airplane will be a sinch. As a real-life pilot, i know that pilots usually only get one chance, and normally dont take the second one, r/c is ususally the same way, plan on crashing your first airplane many times, and i mean many times, however a simulator costs about 150$ once, less than an airplane, and can save you upwards of 5grand, in learning planes.

the gear boox is made of molded plastic, that can handle the CyA fairly well... so with a steady hand, and used spaitgly, CyA is perfect.
