Well, I did it ! I had my basket full on Tower for a couple days and I finally impulsed the little mouse and clicked the buy option.
I have seen its big brother fly and even found a mini slinger video. It will not be my first electric. I mostly fly fun-fly type planes along with my Senioretta when I feel like flying low and slow. But you know what, I feel like burning a few holes in the sky and having a good ole plane to throw in the truck and not have to clean off the glow fuel. I know the mini slinger is not a rocket , but it does look cool. What does everyone think about them ?

One of the guys in a local club bought one recently, and he loves his. The Mini Slinger apparently flies as nicely as its big brother. You might want to start planning your brushless upgrade for it ahead of time, however. The stock 180-speed brushed motor that came with his didn't last very long and started to wear out after a couple of dozen flights. He upgraded to a brushless setup and now his Mini Slinger can run circles around the stock Slingers that fly at the club.
Both the Slinger and the Mini Slinger are terrific-flying aircraft, and you should have a lot of fun with yours.

Thanks for the reply. I will also be planning on how to break it to the wife that I have bought another airplane. [sm=drowning.gif]

Hehe, the smart thing to do is just keep it hidden in your car. It could save you a lot of pain and grief.
Of course the Mini Slinger is only $39.99 or so, which might make the wife less unhappy. Just don't mention the $150 or so in electronics you need to make your $39 airplane fly.
