Engine needs a home...

Hi All,
I have this old Quadra 35 that I need to find a good sport plane airframe for. I have been inactive for a while and now want to start flying again. I've tried electric and while they have their good points, I'm partial to good ol' internal combustion for my planes. I'm going towards gasoline for ease of availability vs. glow which can be a problem at times.
So Im looking for ideas out there on the web. Plans, kits or arf are all options on the table. Please inspire me ! Simple is better to start with for now.
Thanks for the help :-)
Best Regards

What about a Ryan's Rebel?? Type that in the search here and in google and you will see some stuff about it-RCM also has the plan set for this plane. It is designed for the weedie conversions (Ryobi 31cc, Homelite 25cc etc.) so you should be set w/your engine. I am actually planning on doing one soon and will prob. put one of my Homelite 33cc saw conversions in it. The plane is very simple and won't cost a lot to build/outfit. It is reported to have great flying qualities as well. Good luck and let me know what you decide on.

Seagull Models just came out with a nice looking 1.20 Spacewalker II ARF:

They recommend a 20cc to 26cc gasser, but a Quadra 35 should be just the right amount of overkill.

If your looking for something to slap a gasser on and it flys well, lands great and overall a pleasure, nothing beats a Stik. The Giant Big Stik is what i use to test different conversion engines. This one has a 30cc homy on it-could use more with no problem. It's an ARF from great planes.
