Before I say a word let me say that this is a great site and I really enjoy it. The only thing that I would like to see changed is when you have a PM a window pops up notifying you. After that every time you enter or exit a catagory the same pop up pops up notifying you about the same message. Every time I get a PM I have to totally open the site again just so the pop up about the pm will stay off. It just might be me for all I know. If it is something that I am doing wrong please let me know....Thanks .....John

You can turn pm's off

I dont want to turn PM's off I just want get notified about it once and thats enough.

Click Edit Options
Scroll down 9 lines until you see...

Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?
This will pop up a small warning box when you receive a Private Message asking whether you want to view the message.

Mark it NO.
Submit your changes.

the notice will only be once unless you are viewing a cached page in your browser...if you use the back button to go back to the original page that the pm loaded on and it has the popup code cached in it then it will continue to popup...if you clear your browser cache this should fix it as well so you get only one notice...also the PM link at the top menu will turn red when there are messages and say "New PM's" instead of the regular color "PM" link.

Oh boy........ clear my browser cache???? Now you are going over my head.....( not hard at all to do)
