Back in the old days (old RCU days that is), I used to be able to press button and retrieve a listing of 'ALL NEWS POSTS IN SUBSCRIBED FORUMS'. I could then sort this by the forum, and easily catch up with new postings in my subscribed forums. This is missing as far as I can tell in the new RCU, and really makes keeping up with the forums time consuming, to the point that use RCU significantly less than in the past.
Is this function here but buried, or something that is planned to be implemented. For me, its the utmost priority as I am not using the forums because of the slow and cumbersome current implementation.
Thanks,

Take a look near the top of the page on the right side at the round icon buttons. You will see "My Forums". Click it and you will be able to customize RCU even better than before. This takes place of the old MyRCU we all grew to know and love. Set your preferences and you'll be dancin'. Next time you visit RCU click the MyForums icon then "new posts" just below it in the forums.
You may also manage your suscribed threads by click the "subscription" link (near top, right side of page).

We are getting closer...
Now if the new threads were able to be sorted and grouped by forum, rather than just by date/time, I would be dancin. We had that on the old site, and it was a great timesaving feature. Having them grouped together by forum is a very logical way to present the data, rather than mixing them all up based on time. I doubt most people care when the posts are posted in relation to each other, but would prefer all the Jet stuff (for example) grouped together, then the threads listed cronological order, rather than having all the threads mixed together based on time only.
Do you know if this feature from the old site in the works for the new site?

Sorting by forum would be right on! Right now every new post is listed even with the same topic. This is crazy as the same forum shows up multiple times depending on when each post is made. I would like a list of forums in forum order where there have been new posts as sfaust indicates. Tis was a real timesaver in the old RCU and I have mentioned this a few times.
I too don't have the time to look at the current "new posts" result, so never have looked at them all and visit muh less than I used to.

Just to expand on both mine and 4*60s comments, as well as the others that have mentioned they miss this feature also. The feature we are looking for that we had in the old RCU, was the following;
-list all new posts in our subscribed forums only.
-Sort the list by forum, and group all topics from the same forums
-only show a topic once if there are multiple replies to that specific topic (dont show each and every reply to the same topic). A nice addition would be to have a number to denote the number of new posts on that topic.
-have a button next to each topic to jump to the first unread post (dont make the button too small so that its hard to aim and click since it will be used often)
-if the list is multiple pages, there was a page 1, 2, 3, 4 and next button at the bottom
This was the biggest timesaver that I found on the old RCU interface, and is now sorely missed. I had to unsubscribe to a number of forums just to keep things simple for the interim. This definitely cuts down on the number of posts I make, and the topics I watch. Some may say this is a great benefit of the new interface
Oh yes, and please make the notify me via e-mail if someone replies a global setting with a manual bypass. I get tired to trying to remember to always check that button, and I can't change it if I forgot to add it when I first posted the message (like this one [:@])

Here is a text version of what the above post stated verbally. The * is the icon or button
used to take you to the first unread/new post in that thread. The NBR is the number of new
posts in that thread. And the list is sorted by the forums for easy contextual grouping.
New Topics Nbr Forum Author Date/time

Hopefully, the idea still comes across. Guess I should have used a html table....
