We have Karma feedback rating system to rate users here.
for example view your profile:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/show...sp?memid=23993
and then in there it has a link for the karma feedback
http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/mem...fm?memId=24809
you can do this for every member. When in selling area every ad has direct link to sellers feedback and you can click it for more details. see any for sale ad for reference. we are no longer maintaining 2 systems of feedback. If you want to check the old site for any historical data in the GBU go to http://utopia.rcuniverse.com

Mike: I have been burned recently, by a member named hobbyhelp. I can't post negative karma because 1/ the deal originated on the old rcu and 2/I waited more than thirty days before trying to post (because I was trying to work it out with the fellow).
No good deed goes unpunished.
How can you afford "legal action" with the fellow in a different state?
I am struck by the goodly number of members reporting problems on deals. I get the impression that there are people out there who are exploiting the system. If this sounds like someone longing for the good old days, you have that right. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. It will be awhile before I will be comfortable dealing with anyone I don't know on this site, karma system or no.

Mike: I forgot one important thing about negative karma.
Rcu moderators decide whether or not to allow you to post negative karma. You might think it is deserved, but if they disagree, no negative karma will appear. User beware.

Old RCU moderators regulated negative karma.
New RCU (now) we do not regulate it. If you make an offer on an item you can rate the seller. A seller can rate any users who made offers on his/her item.

I was going by your post in the clubhouse, trader karma, but I see now it is dated 2/9/03.
Are the new karma rules and procedures codified somewhere on the site?

go-navy..go to the marketplace and view the help file...much if not all of it should be covered in there. come back here with anything not covered or other questions and I'll try to help.
