Default "Mark All Forums Read" request

Sure would be nice if this action could be placed at the bottom of each page of posts--this "old RCU" feature is one I personally miss. Any chances??

It is at the top right. Are you saying you didn't see it there or that it wasn't convenient for you there.

Marc, I don't see it anywhere on the page--is that a feature I need to activate--or am I just not seeing the hand in front of my face (been accused of that one a few times
Thanks!

I think I see what's going on---if I go to "My Forums" , and then go down to a forum and select it, I then get the message in the top right hand side that allows me to mark all post read in that particular forum--which is cool. When I go to "My Forums" and then select "Posts since Last Visit" (which is the way I use the forum section), the "Mark Forums Read" action is not there.
I'm looking for the line at the bottom of each forum page that allowed me to mark all of MY forums read, no matter what page I'm on or forum I'm in.
Not a big deal, but I got a little bit spoiled with the convenience of that feature. Unless I'm wrong, the only way to do that now is to go back to the "Forum Home" page, and click on "Mark all Forums Read" there.

Yep...your right. That is one of those little things that should just be a template change. Exactly where do you think it should be placed and in what views (thread listing, inside thread...)

I always liked the position it used to be in, which was basically at the bottom of the page in the area of the page #. It seemed to logically work out since I was typically done looking through all the stuff by the time I reached the page bottom, and could then just click on it. I think anywhere on the page would work fine, though.
BTW---Your attention to this is awesome, Marc, and much appreciated!

NOT a big deal--just curious if you intend to add the feature.

so I understand..you wanted it on every page including the thread view page (this view when reading) and the thread listing page or just the pages that list threads? where would it be most convenient?

that link is on the homepage of the forum now at the top but is easy to add. I dropped the ball on this awhile ago for some reason?

I'd like to see it on "this view when reading". That way, when I'm on the last page of the last thread I'm interested in, I can check the "Mark all threads read" and bypass the need to go back to the "Forums Home" page to "Mark all threads read".

Did that make sense???

You know, having that on the thread listing page would be awesome also.
