Image search?
How about an image search option, like the Google image search.
I know that would take up lots of memory, but couldn't you link it to the galleries. Then have people submit photos.
I often find myself wondering what a particular plane, part or piece of equipment looks like when others are discussing it on the forums. Or seeing different color schemes or variations of a plane.
