I really hate having to wade through every new post to find the ones I'm interested in. The old RCU used to have a selection for showing only new posts in subscribed groups. Can this option be enabled again. I am not interested in boats or cars and really don't want to have to see these threads, too.
Thanks

Actually, you have even more options available to customize RCU than before.
At the top of the page you'll notice 6 yellow 'coins' labled for specific categories. The first one is "My Forums". If you click this link you will be able to customize RCU to view only the categories you prefer. From that point on you won't have to view the categories you don't like to see. You may also click "View Subscriptions" on the forum home page near the top to organize your subscribed threads and/or forums. If you click the "Posts since last visit" you'll still get all the new posts from every category since your last visit.
Hope that helps.

I've used My Forums a lot. I've gone into the Settings and selected only the forums I want to view. If I go to View Subscriptions, at the top where it lists my forums, it says I haven't subscribed to any yet. How do I get only the forums I want to display?

Myforums instructions:
Click settings
Pick your forums from that page that you want to see
Click OK
click the MyForums disc icon on any page or choose from menu if you have enabled dynamic menus on our navigation header
You will see only your chosen forums. Clicking "New Posts" will show only posts from MyForums when in this mode.

Subscribing is different than just the "MY FORUMS"
When you subscribe to a thread you will be automatically notified via e-mail each time a new post is put up in that particulat thread. "I think"
I clicked on the "subscribe to all threads I post in" once. All I have to say that is don't click on this one unless you like getting LOTS of e-mails.
It didn't take long to uncheck that option.

It's working fine. I just didn't realize it. I think what was throwing me was that if I used the "New posts since last visit" link, the number of new posts matched the total I got when I used the 'New Posts' button. Thanks for the help!
