Return from Sub Forums

First - thanks again for a great site !
I understand the logic that says that if I go into a forum and mark it read, I should go back to the top-level again so that I may select the next forum to read.
However, let's say I go into the jets forum to read that, and I notice that there are some new posts in the "turbine clinic" sub-forums so I go and read them, then mark them read. Ideally I would like to be popped back to the jets forum rather than to the top-level forum. In other words, return to the parent of the forum that I marked as read, rather than always to the top-level.
Does that make sense ?

It does make sense in a way but there might be times where the master forum is more appropriate to return to and other times where the parent is...it would have to be a preference as it's probably a user preference...I'll be working on lots of customizing stuff as time permits so I'll keep this one in mind.
