Hello,
Being a newbie to r/c, I think it would be helpful if there were a FAQ stuck to the top of each forum introducing the basics of the topic of that forum. As it stands, I am really learning light years faster about this hobby than I would have if RCU didn't exist (thanks go to the admins and moderators! Good Show!), however, I feel like I'm sort of 'reverse engineering' my knowledge because I'm jumping into discussions already in progress. If the FAQ's were in place, I could gain a level of comfort with the topics being spoken about before reading the discussions and feel more free to browse all of the forums instead of limiting myself to the few which I feel I have some understanding of (i.e. I'm ok with 'beginners', moderate with 'engines', but I'm clueless when I go to 3D or fun fly and hear about knife edges and flat spins etc. (which I really would like to learn about!)). Perhaps the moderators of each forum could be responsible for compiling the FAQ for the forums which they are over (because I realize this could potentially be a daunting task!). Anyway, great job and even without the FAQ's RCU gets my vote!

It's a good idea and something I would like to have time premitting...I had taken this task on before but got sidetracked by many other things with the site.
Best thing is that if a term or something comes up you don't understand you can search for it and find out more here until the faq is complete...
