These two topics are really polar opposites. I
think they deserve separate forums.

Just my $0.02. Keep up the good work!

I was trying to keep the number of "front page" categories within a manageable number. I would be open to suggestions on combining some categories to a larger main category so the main page doesn't get too long. Once you enter one of the main forum categories you would then see the "sub-categories". Much like the forum you mentioned.

I am open to organizational suggestions. It's your forum. I'm just here to make it as perfect as possible! I take that Jeff Bezos build the best site and put the customer before everything attitude.

I like the idea of keeping the forum topic list to a minimum, but I don't care for the sub categories.

Perhaps combining Scratchbuilt, Kits, and ARF's into one category, would be good for now. If/when one of the categories starts to overwhelm the others with posting numbers, you could create another category to the main list.

I split them up...so much for a small front page :-(

Makes more sense though...
