Hi,
Id like to suggest that only the thread starter can change the topic name, because of the following: Every time someone responds to that thread, I get a notification mail, wich has the current topic name in the subject box.
For example:
Im subscribed to a topic that origionally was named "Accipiter Badius topic".
So the notification mails should be named "Subscription: RE: Accipiter Badius topic - by <someone> | Park Flyers & Backyard Flyers"
But now is where the annoying bit starts.
People keep changing the topic name in theire posts halfway the thread to stuff like "Virus" when someone feels sick and needs to tell everyone about it for some odd reason.. (it happens![&:]) This makes the next notification mail "Subscription: RE: Virus - by <someone> | Park Flyers & Backyard Flyers". This is very confusing because Im subscribed to many topics, and I have to click through 10 mails with different subjects, wich end up all being for the same topic.
I believe this suggestion would save me and tons of other people a lot of time digging through our mailboxes.
Thanks in advance,
Sven
