I understand that banner ads pay for the site, and therefore I have no problem with them, however there is one ad that I think should be removed. Not because of objectionable content or because I don't like the company, but due to the disturbing flashing.
As a software developer years back I heard that some people have adverse reactions to certain flashing patterns, specifically people that have seizures. Therefore the guidelines we had to abide by avoided flashing screens, I thought this sounded kind of silly at the time. However if it's possible to give someone a seizure by flashing then Hangtime Hobbies' ad would surely do it. Personally it hurts my eyes and makes it difficult for me to read the posts when it’s imbedded into the forum messages.
The ad in question is the one with the crashed airplane on the following page (assuming it doesn't move) [link=http://utopia.rcuniverse.com/allsponsors.php?page=10]utopia.rcuniverse.com/allsponsors.php?page=10[/link]
I know this may sound silly, but this ad has bothered me for a long time. Please consider having the advertiser change it.
Thanks,
KeithB
