Poll answers inclusive
Your polls are frequently slanted to young people -- those under 60.

None apply to those like me where we grew up with modeling, flew all of the FF and CL stuff then just naturally migrated into RC after being around it for years. No one item was of any significance in such introduction.
Remember that we ol' veterans just may be the ones with a fair amount of disposable income, and leaving it to a bunch of grown-up braty kids ain't all that interesting. [>:]

And where is the 'on my own' choice?
A freind & I got started in the hobby, as we know it existed, but found all about it on our own (where the local club is, what we need to start, where to get it / them, etc..) We did our own research, with the use of magazines, store owners, the internet, and others we found to talk to..
