Why did RCU start putting an avarge responce time to questions and offers on ads. It is rather unfair because if questions are answered via email, like I do, and not through the respond to question button, it will not give a fair reading. My latest ads say 25 hours to respond to a question. I think the longest it may have ever taken me is 6 hours. Most are within an hour. I just don't feel it is a fair thing to have on an ad. It is missleading.

I was wondering the same thing. There have been many questions that I just ignored (like an offer to trade on an add that is marked No trades) I have been responding with some meaningless answer in most case or just putting "repond by e-mail"
The make offer seems to be timed as well, I am wondering if there's an offer that I have ignored or simply overlooked ; Is the clock still ticking?
I suppose I should try to keeep track of it,,,,[&:]

Hey guys, here are some ideas:
1. If you want to reply to someone via email and NOT have it appear on the ad and still get credit in your responsiveness meter, just go to the ad, reply to the question and UNCHECK the "post to ad" checkbox. Remember, using our system gives you a complete record (in one place) of all communication around a sale. Having this helps prevent disputes.
2. The offer tracker is ticking on open offers. It really upsets members when they make an offer and it sits open for days. Either reject it, accept it or invite a new offer. Keeps the system moving!
