I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A REQUEST TO HAVE A R/C SKYDIVING FOURM ADDED TO YOUR GREAT SITE. WE HAVE RECENTLY COMPLETED OUR SECOND SKYDIVING CONTEST AT AMA HEADQUARTERS IN MUNCIE AND ARE PLANNING A BIG CONTEST WHICH WILL BE HELD IN WESTERN N.C. IN THE SPRING. WE HAVE BEEN POSTING AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS ON R/C SKYDIVING IN VARIOUS FORUMS AND SECTIONS OF RCU AND FELT IF YOU COULD GIVE US JUST ONE FORUM SECTION SOMEWERE ON YOUR GREAT SITE, IT WOULD MAKE IT EASIER FOR US TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEEDING HELP WITH THIS PART OF OUR HOBBY AND TO ALSO BE ABLE TO SPREAD THE WORD ON IDEAS WHICH HELP TO MAKE DROPING THINGS FROM MODEL AIRPLANES MUCH SAFER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!! KEN

It would be great to have a forum dedicated to R/C Skydiving.
It would be much easier than having to search the other forums for the Skydiving threads.
I have been to the last Two Skydiving events in Muncie.
There was also an article in the Oct. 2002 Model Aviation
Mag. on R/C Skydiving.

Ken and Gary are right, there is a lot of interest and questions in the RC world about skydiving. RCU is the best on the internet for helping other people resolve problems related to their particular RC interests. Adding a forum for R/C Skydiving would enhance the services offered by RCU and be a welcome addition.I have given internet advice to many guys about R/C Skydiving from all areas of the world, including Australia, after a "chance" internet meeting while browsing many different RC sites. Having a specific forum to go to would take the "chance" out of the equation and provide a valuable service to all RC'ers!!

interesting topic certainly...my only fear is too many topics making it hard to find what we are looking for...not that rc skydiving doesn't warrant it's own (which it may) but more from the vantage point of if we had (for example) 250 forums each equallly deserving their own billing...just the fact we had so many forums would in and of itself make it difficult to find what we want.
Once I customize the forums where you can select the ones you want to see at any time this will become less of an issue. I'm working on that....just uncertain if I should wait until then to add some recently requested forums.

HI MARC, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. WE UNDERSTAND IT TAKES A LOT TO KEEP A GREAT SITE LIKE THIS GOING. KEEP US IN MIND AND REMEMBER WE ONLY WANT ONE LINE. WE DONT NEED A BUNCH OF SUB CATEGORIES. (R/C SKYDIVING -- INFO) WILL WORK. WE HAVE A GROUP OF GUYS WHO ARE ALREADY GLAD TO LEND THERE TIME TO ANSWERING QUESTIONS. AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!! KEN

I think an rc skydiving forum would be a great idea, I have recently been working on my own skydiver and have run into many problems, it's pretty hard to find someone in this particular area of our hobby to get help from, hope everything works out Marc.
