Default a new forum?

Probably not high on the priority list BUT i think every one should be able to agree that there should be a forum for us to post our web sites... Only there though... My 2 cents

And just exactly what websites are you referring to?? Right now you can post things like that in the Off Topic forums.... but only if they are allowed by the [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_377662/anchors_377662/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#377662]RCU Community Rules[/link] .

If they are competing forums they are not going to be allowed to be posted. The only exception to that would be when posting a link to a competing forum answers a question in a thread here on RCU. Otherwise it's against the rules to post links to competing websites. It's only common sense, we're not going to let someone use the resources of RCU to advertise our competition for free. It's the same in the real world too, K-Mart isn't going to let someone plaster ads for Wal-mart on they walls. If someone is interested in using RCU to promote their forum website they will need to purchase advertising on RCU to do that. Otherwise we're not going to allow it.

And why is that? That rule has been in place from day one here at RCU.

If you don't like it here, you are welcome to go to another forum, or start your own. That's what free enterprise is all about.

You may not however, come here and try to encourage RCU members to leave.

I think that is a logical conclusion and would wager that it is not over yet.
