whats with the new rcu video site it stinks even as a beta the old one was better

I agree 100%..... Did it dump all the old videos??

I have the old videos backed up. I cannot reimport them yet but if this is possible I will do so. If not I will make them available to those who need them.

if you have your video uploaded anywhere else you can simply link to it to show it on the new site without the need to even reupload. If you have the video locally you should reload it as I won't know about the import for a bit.

The new platform if you poke around you will find is far superior to what we had AND the development path to improve it will be much faster than we had before by 10 fold. If you have suggestions for improvement let us know

im interested if you can do so. I had a quite a few videos on my rcuvideos page and no longer have them on my harddrive. RCU was the only place that still had them hosted.... if you can get me them that would be great. RCU videos name was the same.. "Believe It"

I definitely have everything so nothing is lost. I have to setup some temporary site so users can pluck their videos down if they still need them and then can simply reupload to the new rcuvideos.com platform

no problem. If its too much trouble setting something up a buddy of mine has a area on his ftp for me that you can put them on. Thanks

btw only thing i dont like about the new site is theres no "channels" button? On the old site i could just go right to the boats section, seems like the new one you guys are just catering to the plane guys

channels are somewhat done away with in favor of "tags" and groups which is how most sites are doing it these days as it is more flexible. it does take some getting used to as I am also getting used to this way of thinking and using the site but those that have used it eventually realize why the tag system is better/flexible.
