First off, this site is absolutely outstanding. I've picked up lots of tips and met some nice folks. My problem is that there are too many freakin' message boards. I think of an idea or a question I'd like to post, and it theoretically fits in 5 or 6 different places. Couple that with the fact that a high percentage of the hundred or so boards then have sub-boards . . . . .

It's just overwhelming and too much to take in. I'm not looking for just a plane board, a boat board, and a helicopter board for example, but it would really be nice if they weren't broken down into the extreme levels they are. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm typically hesitant to post on a board that only gets 2-3 posts per day. I try to find active boards, even if it means posting somewhere that technically doesn't make sense.

Just my 0.02. Anyone else?

Make your question simple and find the relevant forum to post it in. I don't quite understand your problem.
What exactly is your question that you need an answer to?

Uh, this is the "site suggestions" board. I'm not asking a question. My suggestion is to combine some of the 100's of boards on this site in the interest of having fewer boards with more traffic.

The forums are divided into what the majority of the users of those
forums desired..
As you, they placed suggestions here and persued it to make them happen..
This is why there are so many sub forums...

My subscribed forums are'nt too numerous , but my subcribed threads are probably 500 or so. lol. I spend too much time here.

Many wanted to seperate stuff even further, but I guess you get used to whatever is here, I get lots of e-mails per day, lol [:-]
