Default Assembling a ST46 Sleeve the right Direction

Hi

I am new to this hobby and crashed my trainer with an ST46 engine. (This is the Ringed Piston Engine) I was advised not to turn the Prop, and to disassemble the engine and clean it thoroughly which I did. My problem is that now I have no idea which direction the Sleeve was in when I took it apart. (I know I should have marked it). There is a notch on the sleeve which obviously aligns with something, but I cannot find whether this should be towards the front, rear or a particular side ...I can't seem to find any alignment marks on the cylinder area. Can anybody Help.

Thanks

Doug

On SuperTigre engines, the notch on the cylinder sleeve should be lined-up with the center of the exhaust port on the crankcase.

Thanks Bill

I thought that may have been the direction, but didn't want to take any chances.

Kind Regards

Doug
