Ustedes me mandaron un cuerpo de carburador hace unos dias, el cual fue reemplazado e instalado, en un trabajo muy limpio. Despues de ese trabajo he volado varias veces sin tener ningun problema.

Mi G90 tiene 2 1/2 galones de uso, y este fin de semana me paso lo siguiente:

El sabado vole 6 veces con mi estanque de 14 oz. y no note ningun problema. El motor con mucha fuerza y sin ningun problema de funcionamiento. Al final del dia limpie como es habitual mi avión, ya que el motor lo uso con mezcla semi rica.

El domingo en la mañana volvi a la pista y vole 3 veces, pero cuando limpie la parte inferior del fuselage de mi avion, noté que el aceite acumulado en toda la parte inferior, BRILLABA, igual que una pintura metalica.

Estoy muy preocupado y no se que hacer. la compresión se nota bien, pero me preocupa las pequeñas pintitas de metal en el aceite. Un amigo me dijo que es por que el motor se esta "acomodando o acentando" otro me dijo "que el motor aun no sale del rodaje y que es normal".

Nunca habia salido asi el aceite, siempre queda muy sucio pero el color del aceite es de color cafe claro y no "metalico".

Por favor dime si te ha pasado esto antes y que es lo que tengo que revisar.

Dark exhaust can be caused by many things. The most common is a hot muffler. The oil gets "cooked" and turns dark.

The muffler is made of sections of aluminum. The engine's vibration can cause particles to get into the exhaust stream and give a "metal flake" look.

Of course, there could be something internally wrong with the enigne and that's the source of the particles in the exhaust.

The way to test is to remove the muffler. Run the engine at full throttle and hold a piece of white card stock so that you can capture some of the exhaust oil on it. When you have a small puddle of oil on the card, remove it from the engine area, and allow the oil to soak into the card. You will then see if there are any particles coming out with the exhaust. IF there are no metal particles coming directly from the engine, but you find them when you capture exhaust from the muffler, then it is just the muffler that's the source, and isn't much to be concerned about.

Mufflers made of separate pieces can erode aluminum into the exhaust stream. The engine-mufler joint is another source of rubbing.

If you find metal particles being emitted directly from the engine, then there may be something seriously wrong. A brand-new engine with little running time will emit some particles, but the exhaust stream should not look solid black.

The oil on my fuselage ISN´T " dark. i put clear brown , its like your stik of "platinum member " on forums.
