Default PERRY PUMP on ST 4500?

I have an ST 4500 and a Perry Pump VP30. I need suggestions of how to install this pump on this engine. Specifically where is the best location for the "Pressure Tap".

I woul really apreciate your support and suggestions, any drawings or pictures you may have to help me to obtain the best performance.

Best Regards,

Corsario

You can locate a pressure tap anywhere on the rear cover. Just make sure the tap is filed flush. Some people drill through the center of the mounting lug and mount the tap there. You do have to make sure the drill stays centered in the lug. Don't let any metal shreds remain in the engine after drilling.

Bax, thanks for your suggestion. I think I locate the tap in the center of the mounting lug, because in the ST 4500 rear cover is impossible by the bearings.

Thanks again,
