Cant get a ST???
Hello. Is Super Tigre having problems supplying engines. I ordered a ST from my LHS close to 2 months ago. They kept saying "it will be about 2 weeks, it will be about 2 weeks" but it never shows up. Finally I asked what was going on and they said the supplier is not filling the order yet BUT it will be about 2 weeks.
can you answer the question is ST still shipping engines?
thanks very much
tks1
PS - this is a motor they put on sale 2 months ago. Why you would put a sale on a product you dont even have is beyond me but that is for another thread in another forum.

RE: Cant get a ST???
Its the 3250. I didnt think there would be an issue with supply. I would have to think it is my LHS waiting for a large number of customers to request the engine before they actually order it. Guess I will cancel and go elsewhere for it.
Thanks again for your reply

There is an excellent chance that you hit the nail on the head - but obliquely.
I doubt if the shop owner is waiting for people to order the same engine, but it does sound as though he is waiting for enough items from the same distributor so that he can meet the minimum order requirement that the handling distributor has established.
