Default Is both my ST 40's the same?

BAX I have a twin stick that I will run 2 40's I have. But are these the same 40. One has a big G with a 40 etched inside the G (left side of case) square head. The other has a big G with a S etched inside the big G ,square head. They both look the same. Are they ,or is one ABC ? Or one ball bearing ,instead of 2 ?

If the one engine is a "G" 40, then it's rather old. The current-series, "GS", which has been out since 1988, is a ringed engine. The G-40 would be previous to that. They would be somewhat similar, and should have roughly the same handling and performance.

Interesting. I was given an unused ST 45 not long ago with the same markings as Speedster's (only with a 45 instead of a 40). I didn't realize it was this old. It's the one that looks like this:
