Default needle setting

Engine in question is a st 60. I have put 50 flights on the thing and it has not let me down yet. I was under the impression that the high speed needle should be out approx. 1 1/2 turns. All other engines I have ever flown have been like that. This one runs rich until I turn the needle in to .75 or less turns out with a slight increase in rpm with the nose pointed up. I have been concerned since the beginning but it hasn't given any reason for concern. Paranoid...maybe, but I wanted a Super Tigre rep's opinion. For the record, it turns a 13x4W at 10,400 all day long. Thanks for your help.

Default needle setting

Basically, you set the needle where it needs to be set. The actualy number of turns is irrelevant. If the engine's running properly, and isn't too lean, then you're OK.
