Hi Folks,

Which Spektrum RX works the best for the TREX 450 size helis? I will be using a DX6i radio.

The TREX 450 will have a carbon fibre frame.

Ever where you go in the RC hobby are chinese menus!! Too many choices......thank god there is a forum where new comers can learn from the experts.

For my Align Trex 450, I use the Spektrun AR61xx series and for my Trex450 clones (HobbyKing), I use the HobbyKing OrangeRX 6 channel. For my good planes and helis, I use Spektrum only.

Good advise I am looking at the AR6210 with satellite but will given the price an OrangeRX R610. Wanting to find out if the AR6210 will work without the satelite before making the purchase call.

Although the OP asks about Spektrum Rx's, I have flown with both Spektrum 6100, 6110e, and more recently Orange DSM2 Rx's from HobbyCity•com. The orange ones (8.00 + shipping) work as well as the name ones with my 450's and fixed wing models.
