T-Rex 450 X
I need to replace the tail rotor blade holders and the whole t/rotor casing, (original plastic) or perhaps upgrade it to alloy, or the whole tail/r assembly. Not much luck through the supplier being an older model. Anyone got a spare set to sell? J.

Wow, that looks like the 1st Trex 450. Any of the later belt-driven tail rotor assemblies from later Trex 450's should fit it. Also try Tarot-just as good quality and quite a bit cheaper.

Tx for the reply, I bought this model as SH about 7 years ago with just about every spare but, tail/b holders and casing, and must have done 1000+ flights till few weeks ago hitting the neighbours wall while being little careless flying in very confined area. I had over it Bell-222 fuse, looking great but I got
Mill-26 fuse to fit over for a change if I manage to get tail/r. I have no idea about these little E-powered models, what fits and what doesn't, being mainly large IC helicopter builder. What did you mean by "Tarot"?

"Tarot" and another brand, "CoptorX" make pattern parts for Trex 450's that are considered to be as good or better than Align parts and a good deal cheaper. Here's a link to a complete tail gearbox w/blade holder. http://www.miracle-mart.com/store/in...oducts_id=4904 The store, Miracle Mart, is out of Hong Kong. You can also get a lot of Tarot parts thru Hobbyking.com in Australia, but not this particular gearbox.

Many Tx for the link, I have to look at it closer if it fits my model. I got no idea about these little electric models. Hoping to fit over this Hind-24 plastic coat for a change, Regards, J. (few of the models I have been flying last 25 years)
