Default RE: Futaba 6XAS and the Trex

I have this TX and use it to fly my T-Rex 450XL CDE. I have normal, Idle up and Throttle Hold all configured. It handles the heli great with no swash interaction that I can see. While it doesn't have a whole lot of bells and whistles for Heli's it's a good radio for me. Took a while to figure it out, but I tried it first on a Blade CP and it flies that bird perfectly as well.

Since there are so many settings to configure to trim the heli right I put it in a spreadsheet so I could keep track of my config. I''ve copied in the configuration I have below. Just so you're aware, I'm using the GY401 AVCS gyro and an R146iP receiver with all Futaba S3110 servos. Flies great with this combo. I have it set so I get the full pitch range on my heli without binding, and it's also just set for my flying preferences.

*Disclaimer* Don't forget - this is the setup that works for me. Just use it as a guideline. Just because it's working for me doesn't mean it's the perfect configuration. After initial setup, test test test. As I'm sure you know - a big part of a good flying heli is the setup. I spent a good deal of time tweaking the heli as well.
