HS-65 Servo Installation Question
Guys,
When installing the HS-65 servos in the Trex SE should I use the grommets or do you guys just mount the servos without them?
I've done searches for this info but can't find a thread that mentions it, nor can I find a good photo that shows it.
I'm assuming no one is using the grommets but wanted to be sure.
On other thing, the little plastic pushrod guide on the tail boom broke on mine - is that needed to keep the pushrod from flexing, and if so, is there a better replacement part?
Thanks.

RE: HS-65 Servo Installation Question
They mount perfectly without grommits. I think they're mostly needed for Nitros where the vibration is considerably more intense. Have grommits on my Raptor servos. Not the Trex which after 75+ flights has not had servo mount problems. (Did change a servo twice because of stripped gears when caught in tall grass)

Jus noted your other point.
Forget the tail pshrod guide. It's in the wrong pace & is just a potential source of binding. Icut mine off after cracking &again--NEVER had a tail problem
