Has anyone had any problems or is anyone using the 35a Align governed ESC ?? There is a pretty good deal on a T-Rex with the Align ESC and the Align 430LF motor and I was wondering how good the ESC is ??

I use the Align 35 with the 430lf motor. I have had nothing but good results.
The spool up is super slow, which keeps it from jerking the heli, and it looks more scale.
The BEC drives 4x HS56 and the gyro fine. This is more than my CC P35 could do.
Oh, and the Align motor runs cooler than my Mega 16/15/3 did.

Thanks for the info !! I'd much rather get a combo and save a few bucks.

I needs a little work, they have the heat sink stuck to the outside of the heat shrink and I never got governor mode to work right without pulsing the motor but once you fix the heat sink, and run it in non gov mode it worked fine.

Gov mode "Sucks" -- Don't bother with it at all. Run it in Normal mode & it'll be fine. (True of most of the ESC's)

I prefer the Phoenis 35, but if you have the Align--use it-- It's fine.

I have herd that some or all of the setup on the ESC is reversed. Is that true?

I've had only problems from the Align speed controls, even after moving the heat sink[:'(]
