I have been flying my heli,(3DX-450-PRO) with a OTTER ESC 35A, it was all right, but I burned it out, I would like to get some thing better, I was looking at a few modes, like the
(Quark Universal ESC 33A)
(ELE Advanced Brushless ESC 35A)
( Align 35A Brushless ESC RCE-BL35X (6V)
or is there some thing better? Which one to get?

Jazz would be the best choice if it was a little cheaper. I would recomend the Quark or
new Align " G " model with heat sink and governor mode. I believe the Quark runs better.

Whatever you do, don't by a CC35 ( Unless you don't mind buying a separate BEC. You will also need
a PHS link due to the numerous software updates which are attempting to fix problems that have existed
since they put it on the market ).

You've asked a loaded question here. The Kontronik may be the best, but the best for the money IMO are the Castle Creations. I have 3 Castle ESC's and they have all been perfect. I really like the ability to program it and upgrade the firmware by plugging it in to my laptop. Upgrading the firmware is like getting a new ESC.

WhtBronco , The CC35 REQUIRES a separate BEC and Castle Link ( PHS ).
So the total cost would be :
CC35 = $85
Link = $25
BEC = $25
Y harness = $5
Total = $ 140............... + serving as a Castle Creations guinea pig...........priceless
It would seem that the Kontronic is a better choice at $170 or definately the Quark at $ 85.
Leonado, The ELE brand controllers do not have governor mode. They also utilize low grade
capacitors and semiconductors.
It is cheaper in the long run to have a quality ESC that does
not shut down or catch fire
Your products do offer the first time modeler an affordable alternative.
