Please take a look at this ebay auction. What is the catch? Seems shady, but pics look reasonable.

The catch is that it's not A Trex 450 SE. It's a knockoff. The tip off is the 3DX. Also it is shipped in several boxes. An SE comes in a small metal case. If you are new to helis I HIGHLY recommend going to your local hobby shop & purchasing one from them. They will be there when you need help setting your heli up. If you must by from Ebay I had great results from a seller called Rc expert. Heliproz & Grand RC have some good deals on packages. Do yourself a favor & get Hitec 56 servos, a Futaba 401 gyro & I like the castle creations speed controllers.

ps Check out the finless bob trex setup videos at helifreak.com

I agree with Rockhouse except on the servos. For Hitec servos the HS65's are a better fit in the Rex. However, I prefer digital servos and un the JR DS281's. If you skimp on the electronics you will regret it and will buy the good stuff in the near future.

Thanks gentlemen for the set up advise, I need it or will need it soon. For the record, I knew it was not a trex, mainly because the box it is pictured with doesn't read trex. Align would not be that bashful. I guess I was just curious if anyone knew the 3dx to be junk, or a headache to work with, b/c in appearance it looks blingy. Since posting this thread, I saw one post discussing the HDX 450 (similar to 3dx) in which someone stated that they preferred their 3dx to their trex as it is along the lines of a refined SE. But you can't believe everything you read so I don't.
