Hi, I am getting a Trex450Sa and I was wandering what spare parts I should get. For example if there is a specific spot on the heli known for bending or breaking what par is it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Depending on how hard you crash will determine your breakage. These parts do bend or break alot.
Main blades
Main shaft
If you hit a little harder then you will need ....
Feathering shafts
Blade holders
The large plastic drive gear
It really depends on the crash I've got quite a few extra parts because not every crash breaks the same part.
I've changed the following
Main Shaft
Blades
Feathering shaft
Blade holders
Drive gear
Tail boom
Belt
Flybar and a few other items I just can't remember them all !!

On the main blades should I get woodies or Carbon Fiber?
Also what parts can I get so no matter the crash I wont have to buy another thing? Would I have to get everything?
thanks!

The carbon blades are typically a bit more durable than the woodies (as far as dents and dings goes anyways, they'll still shatter in a decent crash) but if you're new to heli's I would say stick with the woodies for a while as they're cheaper to replace.
Best bet on the replacement parts is to buy one of everything because if you have the luck I have you will break the one part you don't have when you crash

The first five I mentioned usually keep me out of trouble. When I get a little to comfortable then the other parts start to break. I'm staying with the wood blades for the price , Techmodelproducts has three sets for 28.99 , hard to beat the price.

I have a few aluminum parts , Blade holders , tail housing , and I did use a metal head but that was because the plastic one mine came with would not center. No matter what I did I could not get my Heli to spool up so I replaced that and Viola !! I have had no problems with the other plastic parts.

Should I even bother buying any metal or carbon fiber parts?
