it's not 'running' yet but it's a 450 xl custom. i have upgraded... it has all the bling from micro-heli.
i am just wondering if this is a good setup

has anyone tried it?
i am looking at 1964 head RPM with 15t pin and 210t spur

any comments and advice welcome

For a trex i recomend buying what ever size pinion you need to obtain a 2800 to 3000 head speed with your motor.

ok, let me get this right.... i was doing the math and was wondering if my calcs were right..... am i really gonna need at 30(plus)t
to get this result
i am using the fomula spur divided by pinion =x then 27000 divided by x = head RPM

am i even close??? i don't know enough (not running still settin up) about the specs yet to use the link you gave on the other thread

which motor are you using????

I ran 2400 rpm in normal mode and 3000 rpm in Idle up...

anything under about 2200 and the Trex feels sloppy
