Default What does ESC mean?

Sorry with all the dumb questions but you have to start somewhere.
What does ESC mean and if a buy a T-Rex 450 can I use any ESC such as 10a or do I have to buy a certain type?
Thanks again because I really do not know

ESC = Electronic Speed Controller

For a T-REX 450, you will need a 25A minimum. 35 is better. 45 even better. It all depends on what motor, battery, and gearing you go with, etc...
