Some of the documentation says either use a car or truck battery (that's NOT being charged) or an AC to DC power supply if you just have to go that way. The rating of the AC/DC charger should be 50 amps! That's a big power supply. While I suspect you could use one of 20 amp, the 50 amps would apply to an extreme case such as charging a 10s pack. A deep cycle marine battery would probably work great, but you'd have to charge it up before you used it again, I suspect. I have a 1010c and the 210 balancer as well. Good choice.

I use the Hobbico Elite, allows me to charge 2 packs at once, runs about 130, then I purchased a equinox balancer for ~30. So still at about 200 for the charger/balancer.
