Default instructions?

ok, now I've built lots of helis. So I know the 450SE isn't for beginners. But for the money I paid for it, would it have killed them to mention the servos go in easier before you put in the motor mount???? lot's of things on the kits we build don't need explanation. But each one has its own unique ways. I wish companys would consider making instruction manuals that explain these differeneces. If it weren't or finless, I'd be lost....

When I built my SE it was my first Heli. That instruction manual is brutal if your a beginner. I ended up using this manual instead http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo...ARF_Manual.pdf and it helped out alot.

I agree. The manual sucks and is poorly translated. I would have been pretty lost w/o the finless videos, and I have been building fixed wing aircraft from kits and scratch for 20 years.

yeah, It I spent a good bit of time looking at the photos and eventually figured it all out. Gosh, it would be brutal for a first heli. With the SE most of it is done, so I still got it all assembled in a day. Now that its time for radio setup it sure is beautiful! I still think we paid them enough to deserve a decent manual....

I agree - how about a Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 ... instead of exploded schematics.

I would have loved to have noticed that I should have mounted the motor BEFORE I was finished with assembling the entire frame. That was frustrating. It made total sense when I got around to doing it, but I was just going page by page on the explosions.
