Default heading towards a 450SA with a DX7, quick question

hi everybody im graduating from my blade cp soon for a 450SA. ill be buying a DX7 next week and from there ill be putting stuff on layaway until shes ready. so i guess i have some research time. i was wondering if the servos that come with the DX7 are going to work np on the trex. and while im here, are there different trex 450SAs?? i heard horizon hobbys has a shorter boom or something like that.

No, the servos that come with the Dx 7 are full size digital servos and won't work with the Trex. You will need to get some HS-55/65's or similar.

Yes you'll still need gyro and tail servo though.

Dang, sorry about that. The mag. I got from them didn't have a later release date advertized like other products.
I can say you wont ever regret the DX7 purchase. Even with the XPS stuff out, how can you compete with the price for 2.4 technology and the speed? It's not like there's any program problems either.

Great combo. Just get 3 HS-65mg's for rex. On a 6v bec those servos are incredible.

I highly suggest digital servos on helis and the DS285's are perfect for a T-Rex. If you have to wait to buy some of the items you need you may as well wait until May 20 for the DX7 with DS285's. It will likely be cheaper than buying the DX7 with standard servos and then buying more servos on top of that.

I have the previous veri DS281's in my T-Rex and they have been perfect, they're very precise.
