I have an early model 450X, the gray plastic frame, that I purchased used. I have noticed on spool down the swash plate wobbles very slightly. Since I got such a great deal on the heli I would like to invest some cash and rebuild the head and replace the main shaft, feathering shaft, rubber doughnuts etc. I usually order parts from TechModel Products http://www.techmodelproducts.com/ and was wondering what parts I need to do a rebuild of the head. I dont see any gray parts, just black ones and was wondering if all the 450 parts were are interchangable. If someone could list the part numbers that would be ducky. Thanks in advance!

Hey Kurtzz,
Yup all the head parts are the same they are just black plastic. I would recommend you to buy the metal upgrades to replace you old plastic pieces. They are a little more expensive but won't have to replaced in most crashes.
P.S. The main shaft is the same also..so if yours is not bent. keep it and invest in other metal parts.
If you can afford it the complete metal head includes the metal swash plate and all other upgrades..its far cheaper than buying all the parts seperately...I know from experience.

Thnaks for the tips. I am trying to just replace what might be bent or worn on this bird. I'll have a 450S CF and all the trimmings on the way in a few weeks.
Thanks
