I get 6.0-7 mins with all out flying and high head speed on the 450 T-Rex. My 600 with a 200 headspeed and mild 3d gets 6.5-7mins or so. With a 2300 headspeed and harder 3d i have to land at about the 5.5 min mark and thats an auto. Im using Thunder Power 2070 3SX in the 450 and Thunder Power 5000 6SX in the 600. Im sure i could go to the softer dampeners (grey) on the 600 and run a 1700 headspeed and get 10 mins of flight but thats not why we buy them right? Its meant to be rung out.

Best way for flight time increase, lower headspeed and smaller pinion to keep the amp draw down. Keep your flight smooth and level, no 3D and I can get 12 mins with my 450 and 10 with the 600 if i slow things down.

If you want flight time and performance at the same time, buy a Thunder Tiger heli rather than Align. The eRaptors last a lot longer than the 600... I get 14 minutes from my Raptor from 5s2p 3700, at 1800 RPM. If I turned it up to 2000 it would 3D fine, and still get 11 minutes. An e620 would get a bit longer from 10s than my 5s setup.

Which motor and pinion do you use for your ERap?

What Nankin Hobby said is literally spot on. I get the same performance out of my choppers by exactly what he describes. If I lower the head speed of my T-Rex 450 and just hover combined with slow forward flight, my timer is set at 10.5min. That is also at a 70% voltage cutoff, if I lower the cutoff to 60% you can look at practically 14 minutes before you redline the cells. The brand of chopper does not make a difference as far as battery life is concerned. Head speed, digital vs analog servos, battery, motor, and weight make all the difference. All of those things are able to be tweaked on just about any chopper.
