I finally have everything in my 450se except for the battery, what flight times should I expect with a thunder power 2100? Is there a better battery out there thats below the $100 mark? Thanks

I have a 450 V2 and am using this battery from Heli Direct. Seems to do the job at 1/2 the price. Free shipping over 100 . Mike

I big factor is wht pinion you're using. I run the 13T in mine and get around 5 minutes. You can probably count on at least 8 with the 12T. Another huge variable is what type of flying are you goin go be doing? I pretty much fly in idle up all the time and am usually doing 3D the whole flight. Hovering requires far less power, so you could run the 11T and get really long flight times. Then switch pinions as your skill improves.

I'm still pretty new to this so I would only be doing simple "realistic" flying, thanks for the link rcmiket, I will probably try that battery.
