I have read the manual back and forth and I can understand the single custom mix. But what I would like to know is is it possible to mix more than one channel????
What I want to do is create a 20% - 25% mix from the cyclic to the throttle. So far Have been able to either mix the aileron channel or the elevator channel into the throttle channel but not both.
What am I trying to achieve here? Well I dunno if this happens to any of you guys but while Im hovering the heli will lose headspeed and some altitude with some cyclic inputs (I think this is what they call pogo effect?). So I got to thinking if I mix a bit of throttle into the cyclic this should minimize this????

It's only possible to mix one channel to another. The DX7 has three pmixes, but I think you can improve your hopping /falling heli by raising your middle to say 80 and 100 for high, this should keep the head speed fairly flat under load and will isolate stick input to collective changes. I've logged my head speed at 2700 on a fresh bat and have no change pumping between1/2 stick and 7/8, with 430L and 12T pinion.

Ah, I just reread you're post. I beleive what your fighting is partly do to ground effect and falling out of the vertical lift vector, hear's a littl! reading on understanding the dynamics of air current rotary lift,

I read similar articles on helicopter aerodynamics on wikipedia. And they are very helpful.
I have managed to mix some throttle into the aileron, but it will only work when i give it left cyclic. I dont get it. Why work on onme channel in only one direction??
