There are mechanical issues that will need to be checked, but in my experience, a slow drift has always been vibration getting to the gyro. How do you have the gyro mounted? The foam tape Futaba provides? Do you have any retaining device like Velcro or zip ties touching the gyro? Are the servo leads stuffed between the gyro and the frame? Are the servo leads pulled too tight?

go the opisit way on your percentages for your gain channel. like i was running 50% and it wasnt in heading hold mode so go to -50% or it probably has a A or an N in front of the percent. but just go the opiste way and it should work r u running a 401 gyro

I think I am at -50. I am running the 401.
It's like I get it trimmed where it wants to hold and all of a sudden the skids get light and it spins in the opposite direction

go to positive 50% and make sure when you power up not to move your heli for 3 sec. to check if your in heading hold mode power up the transmitter and heli then move the tail to the right and the servo should move towrad the canopy. then tell me what you find out.

that is wrong reverse the servo. when you move the tail right or nose left the servo should move toward the canopy. you need to reverse the servo at the gyro. and it should fly alot better.

just take it easy the gyro will hold if it did what i said it should do. and make sure that when you take off that the rudder isnt reverse of the stick but the only way to know is to fly it and if it is just reverse it in the tx. and you should be ready to go. hope i was of some help.
