I've been on the search for a good flight sim that includes the trex and have stumbled upon the phoenix rc flight sim. Im curious if anybody has ever bought this sim or know anything about it since i am hesitant to buy it since it is in the uk and I haven't heard of them before. Thanks for any info you have!

I have the Phoenix sim and am very happy with it.
The Trex 450 seems accurate. I tweaked the sim so it flys more like my one.
It also has the Trex 600 and others which seem to fly well.
The physics seem accurate to me and it looks good.

hi - i have this sim and the 450 is just like my SA - just had to tweak the power settings
this sim is one of the better ones - but the next update is only days away which i think will make
it the best you can buy, you can look at the featuresand models at www.phoenix-sim.com

I am using this Sim and it seems very accurate for the T-rex 450 to me. You can buy it from Tower Hobbies in the US if you don't wan't to order direct. They ship a futaba adapter for free in addition to the standard JR adapter. Also works great with my DX7.

Phoenix is definitely one of the best RC sims available, as far as realistic flight simulation. It doesn't have all the secondary features that some of the other sims have though, like the ability for users to add new aircraft skins or flying sites. Tower Hobbies is the US distributor, so you can buy it from http://towerhobbies.com .
