Right now I run a 3 cell 2100mah battery in the 450 Trex. I have an opportunity to buy some 4 cell 2100's. I have the stock Align ESC and motor from an SE kit. Can I run the 4 cells with no issues? Anything to change? Can I run a 3s then a 4s for the next flight back and forth? The spec on the esc says it can take 4 cells but there is no adjustment for it. I guess it will give more power but will my throttle curves be messed up for 3 cells? Anyone try this test?

Yup, you'll need to adjust head speed to not only keep your head within safe operational limits, but without adjusting your gearing, going to a 4 cell will increase your amp draw, risking cooking your controller and motor
