Default Power Shortage??

Hey all quick question, I have a Trex SE that hover for a second and seems like it is running out of power fast. I have tried a different battery, but still nothing. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the motor (medusa) or the speed controller?? Any insight would be awesome. Thanks Todd

maybe the speed controller's low voltage cut-off isn't set right. Say that you have a 3s pack and its set for a 4s pack, it'll see that 11.1 is too low for a 4s pack and cut off your power.

Hey guys thanks for your responses. Sorry I didn't get back sooner, my isp sent these replies to my junk mail. Here are the specs. Thanks again!

I would say your power shortage is due to your Polyquest 1900mah battery. I normally fly with my TP2070 extremes, but used my TP2100 pro-lite for awhile and experienced what mentioned above. I realized the TP2100 could not push the amps required by T-Rex motor and esc for long, evidence was nasty tail wag and 5-6 min flights and a very warm battery. When I switched back to the TP2070 no power problems and tail wag disappeared and now I get 8-10 min flights.

Check the C rating. C rating of TP2100 is 15C/20C and the TP2070 is 25C/50C as you can see the TP2070 can handle higher amp draw.

Would this be the case if I have used these batteries with no issues in the past? I checked the voltage on both batteries, and it seems to be fine. I also checked my throttle curves to make sure they weren't messed up. Everything seems to look ok?? This is really weird and starting to get frustrating. Thanks Todd
