It's not that big of a step going from a coaxial heli to a 600. Oh brother, that statement alone would seem to indicate a problem. Have you flown your uncle's 450? If so, how much? I personnally found G 3.5 very helpful, but it absolutely is not the same thing. I can do inverted circuits on Realflight and have yet to do an inverted tail-in hover in real life.

I forgot to mention some things.
I also have had other helis, they are just sold ATM. And the exclusive help with flying and building from the owner of the LHS. He is an expert. I will be fine!

Me too as I want a 600. What I want to know from the others is why not a 600. I have always heard people talk about how much easier a biger heli is to fly then the smaller ones. 600 is bigger then the 450 so why not. It will be my second heli as I have a cx2 now. My plan is to do scale helis at some point. BUt to all of you who say why a 600 from a cx2. Give me reason why not to. We can start another thread so we dont pess up this fine build thread.
To the OP. Sorry for the thread jack. WHat kind and how many channel radio are you going to run in it? Is your goal 3d flying or just another heli to mess with? Looking forward to more progress.

years ago all there was is a Nitro Heli and they were 50s .... nothing is wrong with starting with a 600 they are bigger and more stable ... i had a hard time with going down to a 450 but it is nice
