You must be joking! This little roller has been the subject of many a thread around here!
Seriously, you should take your tail assembly apart and remove the roller. You might want to replace your belt as well...
Do a search on your problem. You will be surprised at how many threads you will find!

Bry is right. Most people recommend removing the idler on the tail. I still fly with mine and it has not caused me any problems. However, after hearing of all the stories of shreded belts I am going to remove mine the next time I change my belt. I also use a Gates belt from Tech Model Products and have had much more luck with it than the stock Align belt.
Good Luck and have fun!

Yeah, when I first read about the thing, I decided that I wasn't going to take aparrt my tail JUST to remove the roller. However, I bent a tail rotor shaft the other day and removed it then.
It sounds like his is causing problems, though and should probably be removed.

well i just removed it...but not in time i guess...the belt is already started to fray, but im just going to fly with it until i order a new belt...if i crash i crash, havnt even crashed it yet and ive replaced the belt twice, kinda sad i crashed my falcon 6-7 times and it still has the stock drive shaft in it.
