Default Help with soft start JR Tx

Hi,

I got rid of the standard align 75A controller and got myself a Feigao 80 amp.

Starts up real nice and slow, just one slight annoyence, I get a "hard" startup on 1 out of every 3 spoolups, problem is i am not slow enough on the sticks sometimes when i hit the 2nd throttle curve.

Is there a way i can use throttle trim's or a way to program the radio to hit that precise spot on the 2nd curve so the heli spools up perfectly slow each time?

I have a Jr x378 heli radio. Will a newer JR radio help with this? Getting it to increase throttle smoother or program it to hit that precise spot?

Thanks.

Hey,

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but one thing that should help/solve your issue;

The way I spool up is to start off in idle 1 and have throttle hold on. I then move throttle to mid stick, then turn off throttle hold. It will slowly spool up to the midstick postion....then you can take off and already be in idle 1 without having to switch on the fly.

Hope this helps,
Skarn

Thanks, an option but not for me, i''d like to start from normal position, and accelerate up from 0 to 20 % 2nd throttle curve, maybe i should bring the 2nd point down to 12%, any other ideas?
I have lessen the tension on the throttle stick, it helpa a bit but i still need to really move the stick almost impossibly slow to hit the right spot for slow startup, if only there was a "step trim" on the throttle stick, i wouldn''t be banging my head over this now
